Mater Dei Hospital Opening

Malta’s new state-of-the-art hospital received it’s official opening with a weekend of activities, events and concerts. Jewls Verse played a two-hour gig with former Eurovision singers Chiara and Olivia Lewis.

The Ability Challenge 2007

Jewls Verse played at The Ability Challenge charity gig. Along with the great music there was a BBQ as well other entertainment. The event was held at Dimples Bar, Mosta.
The Ability Challenge, is being organised once again by Razzett tal-Hbiberija. The Challenge consists of a number of team participating in adventurous activities over a period of one week. Each team will be made up of participants with mixed abilities. This year’s Challenge, will take place in the mountain village of Mayrhofen in Austria.

‘Firefly’, the new single from the coming album is released today (05-06-07). You can listen to the song here. You can also watch the video for the single. Filmed on one of Malta’s most picturesque beaches, Ghajn Tuffieha Bay, the intimate video brilliantly reflects the mood of the song.

Rebel Riders Charity Ride 2007

A great 2 hour morning gig by Jewls Verse and The Monitors playing originals and covers at Dimples Pub, Mosta. An estimated 400+ bikers enjoyed the morning sunshine and gave their roaring support to the band, before continuing on their charity ride.

Jewls Verse is proud to announce that his new website is now live. “It’s been fantastic working on the new website. It encompasses so much more than the old website ever could, and more accurately reflects where I’m at now, as a musician.”
Jewls worked closely with the Inspire Design Agency in the design of the site. “The new site will be the backbone of all new announcements and achievements, and it’ll allow me to showcase my music in a professional way. I’m really proud of the work that Inspire did. Please check out the rest of the site and the songs!”
We’ll be updating the site with videos and a forum and a shop very soon.

Share Malta Charity Gig 2006

Jewls Verse appeared and performed for Share Malta, a charity set up to care for abandoned dogs. The gig, at The Winery, Valletta, was a roaring success.
The Recording Studio

Jewls will be back in the recording studio this month, working with 13-time Grammy award winner, Donovan Knowles.
After Knowles saw Jewls Verse perform at the Universaltalent Prague festival last year, where he placed second for Best Singer, Xalles Limited, the international management firm helping to promote Jewls Verse into international markets, was able to negotiate a unique arrangement with Knowles.
“Without a doubt, I am looking forward to working with Jewls Verse in Malta,” says Mr. Knowles.
